Rookie has moved into an off site model.

After 4 years in operation and a hugely successful festival in 2024, we took time out in 2025 to reflect on the changing needs of artists, art workers and our loyal supporters. Now, we’re excited to return with a fresh approach and renewed energy through our experimental new project: Rookie Off Site. Off Site is a series of events which will enliven, engage and support your creative process and practice. We want to support creative practice through focusing on the process not just the product. Outside the box has become our mission statement to explore new ways of working as artists and artworkers and to rethink our offering to our supporters and the public. We have developed a series of events to foster and support all types of creative practice, community and engagement. Rookie Off Site is a series of events designed for creative practitioners by practicing artists and art workers Jac Hartje and Annelise Henderson. If you are interested in supporting or hosting these events, please reach out - we will be touring this series and may be coming to a location near you soon.
